Akinn uses very little — and what we do use stays on your device.

What we use

Akinn uses browser localStorage (not cookies) to remember your search filters, shortlist, guided start answers, and funding-tool inputs. This data stays in your browser. It is not transmitted to our servers and is not shared with third parties.

Storage keys we set

cc.shortlist.v1 — your saved homes (up to 4)
cc.search.v1 — search filter preferences
cc.guided.v1 — guided start responses
cc.funding.v1 — funding tool inputs
cc.enquiries.v1 — interest you've recorded in homes

Cookies we don't use

We do not use third-party advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or cross-site tracking. We do not use cookies that follow you to other websites. We do not share data with advertising networks.

Analytics

Where we use analytics, we use privacy-respecting providers that do not set identifying cookies and do not transmit personal data.

Clearing your data

Clear your saved data at any time using your browser's settings (typically under "Privacy" or "Storage"). On most browsers, "Clear site data" or "Clear localStorage" removes everything Akinn has stored.
