The service is performing well and meeting our expectations.

People and their relatives gave very positive feedback about living in the service. They told us they were cared for by kind and thoughtful staff, who knew them well. We heard that people were encouraged to be as independent as possible and had opportunities to go out and enjoy trips which reflected their interests and hobbies. People told us, “I am quite comfortable, staff are nice, and I don’t really have any concerns,” and “Its lovely here, I prefer to stay in my room, I have lovely views.” Relatives felt well informed and able to raise any issues, however minor with the staff or management team with ease. Comments included, “She has everything she needs and is very well looked after, she has improved a lot since moving to St Nectans, it’s lovely to see,” “I know who to contact, I haven’t had any issues however I always get a quick response when I ask if anything is needed when I visit etc. Any questions have been answered,” and “I am very happy with how my relative is cared for."
