The service is performing well and meeting our expectations.

People spoke highly of their experience of living at Grosvenor House. One person said, “I think the care is excellent. Only place I know where residents treat it as their home and do what they want unless they cause trouble! I am safe here. They watch out for you.” People told us staff knew them well and understood their care and support needs. One person told us, “They know what I like and if they don't know they will ask.” They told us staff were kind, “Very good. Very kind. All of them are lovely.” Relatives were positive about the care and support their loved ones received. They spoke about the caring nature of the staff, “I see the same faces when I visit, and they all seem very nice. I can't fault them I've even met the chef. The staff are very personal and human. She has a call bell around her neck and is good at wearing this. There is a call bell by her bed and another in the toilet. They are popping in and out all the time with cups of tea and snacks.” People’s relatives told us the home was clean and tidy and free from odours. They said their loved ones were well presented. They told us they were kept up to date with any changes to their loved one’s health, care or support needs. “They will always ring me and update me on anything.”
