The service is performing well and meeting our expectations.

We spoke to people living at Evergreen, their relatives and visitors to the home. We sought feedback from visiting health professionals involved in people’s care. We observed many positive interactions between staff and people living in the home. People using the service and their relatives consistently described positive experiences of care and support. People told us they felt safe, respected and well supported by staff who knew them well and treated them with kindness and dignity. Comments included, “I am happy here. Staff are very nice” “The girls are all lovely. They help me out when I need it” and “Really think it is a good home, no concerns or worries, I am very happy here.” Relatives told us the staff were caring, well trained and provided a high standard of care. Comments included, “We are kept well updated, any issues, anything happens, or if anything was wrong [registered managers name] would sort it and speak to me and [relative] and get it sorted. She always knows what is going on and I know they (staff) care so much about [relatives name]” and “They look after them very well. No concerns at all, I am happy with the care.” Health professionals spoke highly of the service as a whole and the care provided by the registered manager, care, and nursing staff.
