Streatfeild House offers residential and dementia care to 28 residents across two floors of a converted Victorian property in the heart of Hastings. The home is run by LWT Healthcare, a regional independent operator whose Managing Director is a Akinn advisor and investor. Daily life is built around small-team continuity — most residents are supported by the same three or four carers across each week.

The dementia care unit on the first floor is designed around the principles of progressive autonomy: signage, routine, and sensory environment are calibrated to reduce confusion and support independence for as long as possible. The home holds a Good rating across all five CQC domains, with the most recent inspection reporting particular strength in 'Caring' and 'Well-led'.

Fees include all meals, in-house activities, GP visits coordinated with the local surgery, and 24-hour qualified care. Hairdressing, chiropody, and escorted off-site appointments are charged separately on a transparent fee schedule available to view before any commitment.
